Maybe we should all chill?: Great Article on players thoughts on state of team

Well Karlos you fuel the fire with statements to the press like "I am keeping a close eye on Henne and his body language, that say a lot about a man!" Some of us know exactly what you meant by that!

It's the mere fact of fans trying to micromanage every single play and overreact to things happening in practice.

Exactly my point. For all we know that preseason game may be the best thing ever that happened to chad maybe he seen some looks he really needed too. MAybe he went back to the film and made the adjustments he needed to? Do i believe that? NO . . Hell No. But it doesnt matter until week 1 of the REAL season. All these reps are for one purpose only. . . to get the team ready for that night. . .Not to beat atlanta in the first quarter. . .not to Beat Carolina on Friday. . . its to put the team in certain situations often unfavorable ones to get individuals ready for the Opener.

18 years of coming up short one way or another has turned me into a pessimistic *******. Please excuse me when I point out that players from the Lions, Browns, and Bills all have positive things to say about their teams, too.

Funny how fans have been clamoring for a qb because they know a serviceable one is needed.....but our great minds in the front office fail to address the need year after year. Basic concept yet it hasn't been accomplished yet

They have a chip on their shoulder and that includes Sparano. I like it! I would hate to be an opposing team this season.

im sure bills think they are better than people believe. Sparanoshould have a chiphe has a job still because Harbaugh did not want the job

I'm happy the players finally spoke out a little bit.

You know deep down they're all thinking 'Our fans are a bunch of whiny little you-know-what's.'

This is my underlying issue with the media. They are not subject matter experts (at least the ones in Miami anyway). Furthermore, they know nothing of our schemes or player responsibilities. As JT mentioned, on a play that looks like he got taken out, his role might have been to contain the outside, which he did. But from an outsider perspective, he got slammed. This is why i've always felt that practices shouldn't be open to the media or the public. It creates this false representation of players and coaches.

Unless you know exactly what all 22 players are supposed to be doing on a specific play - you cannot comment on whether or not a player got beat. Unless of course we're talking about a 1 on 1 situation where a pass rusher blows around the corner leaving the tackle in his tracks. The fact of the matter is, the playbook won't truly be opened up until we move inside and stop allowing outsiders to watch our practices.

Exactly it seems as if they are just trying to get the fan base riled up for the purpose of just getting hits on their newest . . . "why Henne blows. . .ETC article"

Its really sad actually. . . ITS been ONE WEEK OF THE PRESEASON for goodness sake. People are acting like its week 7 and we are 1-5 ? ? ? I dont get it seriously.

I see. Unless you play our coach in a sport you cannot have an opinion. Unless it is positive of course. Then and only then could a fan or media source know what they're talking about.

Seriously, we won one game at home last year. I think the home fans have a right to voice their opinion.

Players & Coaches talk more crap than fans.

Let them prove it on the field!! Then Players & Coaches won't have to talk crap.

Sheesh ... the scrubs bailed them out Friday. Last pre-season they were punked 4 times by college kids & it carried into the season. Fools talked the same crap. No cred. Maybe they should 'chill' their propaganda.

This team is better than that, so if they win 13 games then I guess that you'll say that the league was watered down eh? why not think positive and be excited for the for the team

Man it's preseason, give it a rest please, I guess with you as the coach they will go undefeated or something, that's just like saying " if the kicker hadn't hit that winning fieldgoal"

Sure they do, they say, we beat the Dolphins in their house.
