Per Omar's twitter. This is what Omar had to say

Denver offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is interviewing with the Dolphins right now. I've been warned not to sleep on his ability as a playcaller, QB developer, his ability to put together a quality staff. He also has an existing relationship with Matt Moore and Brandon Marshall. More homework is needed on Mr. McCoy.

I think what Omar says is worth something as he's pretty tough to get intrigued. Not gonna go into whether I think he's a good or bad OC. I'll say that it is a wait and see approach
 
Let me get some finheaven formalities out if the way so we can enjoy the thread. If Omar likes him he must suck. Omar is the worst. There, continue.
 
I does not hurt to interview as many candidates as possible regardless of what some here think of him and Tebow.
 
If everything in that tweet is accurate, it sounds like a good hire. The Matt Moore connection worries me. I hope they wouldn't stick with him just because McCoy sells them on how he can help improve Moore.
 
If they hire this guy they better make a huge splash in the draft/FA bacause he won't make fans wanna go see games.
 
please don't hire the next head coach because he has a relationship with matt moore...and for me at least off what i have seen and do know please don't hire this guy as our head coach...

Which hire would put fans in the seats? It is about winning games not the name of the HC.
 
Why is everyone so down on McCoy? He had to adapt his system to suit the needs of a Fullback playing the QB position. In doing so, he helped guide his team to the playoffs. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Remember, Mike McCarthy was the OC of the 30th ranked offense before he got the HC gig in GB.

so by that logic lets just interview every coach in the . Mccarthy was a pretty good coordinator in new orleans before he went to sf so its not like he wasnt somewhat successful. Mccoy has done nothing as an oc to warrent any interviews but oh well Ross and Ireland are desperate to get a young guy out there it seems
 
He has connections to Matt Moore lets get him as our HC. :rolleyes2:
 
im sorta on the zimmer bandwagon but mccoy def intrigues me. it might be a good hire. i am not sold on carmichael or filbin. i dont think the Brainiac types make good Head Coaches.
