McCoy Interviewing as We Speak...

Tampa Bay has a lot of candidates, but so does Miami. It just all depends on which teams want to go more defense or offense in their searches.

I think given how the players tuned out Raheem Morris last season, the Bucs should hire a guy who has HC experience.

Then, we can hire Zimmer lol

Lol 99.9% that this douche knows nothing.

As in McCoy? If you're saying Kohney knows nothing then believe whatever you want. He knows his ****. And has been 100% right throughout the entire search.

I just don't think that unless you are his family or a close friend, you're not going to get much out of Zimmer in terms of who he likes. He doesn't discuss that with a general person, because he guards his opinions and rights to that privacy. I don't think he's going to say he likes Tampa Bay over Miami to someone who is obviously likely to turn around and say that on the Internet.

So you know him personally?

Over 40 years, yes. I was one of his father Bill's wrestlers, and Mike and his brother, Billy were either at our house or I at theirs many a weekend. Stood up at each other's weddings. We get together during his off-season on hunting trips. He's guarded, and I don't think a report would come out that he entertains one more than the other unless it's someone's own opinions in thinking that he would.

According to the Hearld,

"Dolphins owner Stephen Ross flew from South Florida to New York after the interview and is expected to decide where the search should go from here."

I can only hope that means some sort of decision, or at least a few coming back for 2nd interviews, is next. If Ross is expected to "decide where it should go from here", to me it sounds like they interviewed everyone they wanted in their first round of interviews.

Why does Ross have to fly north to make a decision? Hire Zimmer, McCoy, Philbin whatever...

Honestly, with the plethora of interviews, i can't even get excited about them any more. Just make a freakin decision already.

May be a "rumor" but he knows his **** and has been one step ahead of the media throughout this entire coaching search. He has real sources unlike some of the phonies around the web.
Sorry, but he throws a lot of crap at the wall and rarely does it stick. His "report" is bogus.

well that takes care of it, nice

I like Zimmer, but if he does not want the job because of Ross, then Zimmer will never get a HC job especially at the age of 55. He is not getting the Tampa job.

Whether he likes Ross or not, my feeling is he will take the Dolphins job if offered to him for exactly that reason. He's not getting any younger and these jobs aren't so easy to come by, as he has seen. And who knows if that report is even true
