McIntosh and the O-line shakeup...

I'm kinda curious why they stopped with those moves. What about center?

Me too. I wonder if we can get Seth McKinney's agent in here so he can tell us how Seth is the next best thing to sliced bread?. :D

Interesting assessment by Ozzy that Carey didn't have as stellar a game against the Steelers. I haven't gotten to evaluate yet. I figured he could have trouble with the read and recognition against the 3-4.

Now that I've seen Carey play LT though I want him there. You put your best OL at LT, period man. That's what I think. Some may not agree I do understand.

Hope he's not represented by Drew R....

Yeah but what if D-Mac impresses you the same? Re-united w/Houck now correct? It's possible that he did come back too soon from injury last year and that we didn't see the real McIntosh. I hope that's how it works out..because we'd have some seriously good bookends.

I have no doubt he came back too soon from that ankle surgery. But since Wanny did'nt address the Oline problem sooner he was cast into the fire.
It was obvious that he was out of shape and not fully healed.

This whole discussion becomes moot because Gus and AJ are just going to start throwing with their left hand. ... Sorry, could'nt resist.

I'm with CK in that I think the move was more because of McDougle's lousy play than McIntosh outplaying Carey. But, if McIntosh can play as good at LT as Carey has so far (if not better), then I'm all up for the move. Because I do believe that Carey can be a better RT than McDougle has shown.

Glad I could add to the discussion. :D

It wouldn't hurt to try...

I disagree. RT is the least important position on the o-line. You can always throw a TE next to a RT to help him out. The key position is LT and if Vernon can't hold his own, then someone else much be given a shot.

This move shows me that we have the same problems as last year. No tackles on our o-line.
It might be the same problem, but it isn't from lack of trying.

After people were jumping to call him a bust all last year, it is kind of funny seeing people stick up for VC to the point of calling out our agent friend. Mind you, I don't support that behavior at all -- I'm not saying I think everything Brett says is gold, but he has no need to go BSing us here. I'm not suggesting that he would have been on here talking crap about a client, but he definitely has the option of not putting his every thought about the Dolphins out here on this board. He's excited for his client and felt like sharing. It's a nice thing if you ask me.

Yep, that someone is Nick Saban.
