I could see the argument that MacIntosh WILL be better than Tait in a couple years, or that he's better value than Tait (if he signs for more than half of what Tait did, I'll be shocked). But a better player right now? Uh-uh.

What little I've read about McIntosh is that he has a lot of potential but he hasn't put it all together yet. I'd take a chance on him but it would be nice to have a versatile veteran (i.e. Meadows) as a back-up just in case.
