McKinnie suggests change of rhythm and cadence

Its nice to see some people get it, and if we had Peyton Manning I guarantee we would not be using a simple go/go-go.

As for the San Diego game the Pouncey tell thing is plausible but I have another theory: There was a thread after the game titled something like "See? they finally mixed up the snap count and we got them offside" I think they might have their cause and effect backwards, we mixed up the snap count because we noticed they were cheating. Thats what most fail to understand, it doesn't have to be a static thing, if we notice a defense trying to cheat the snap count we can change it on the next series or even the next play and catch them. Thats why you don't see coaches like Belichick trying to take advantage, he knows if we're smart we'll counter and gain an even bigger advantage. Maybe Pouncey has a tell, maybe San Diego's line just had a bad day or maybe McKoy is an idiot and fell into our very clever trap, but the theory that Philbin doesn't realize go-go's are always runs or the potential consequences if he does is mind-numbing to me.

I do think the coaching staff has some culpability in the high number of sacks but you're barking up the wrong tree with the go/go-go thing.

If I could thank you twice I would. So consider this Thank you # 2.

Just to play the other side...how do we have 8 wins if the snap count is known by all? My guess is they've made some adjustments at times otherwise they'd lose every game 19-0. Not saying the coaching staff is wonderful but just to assume they haven't done or tried to do anything I think is hard to believe (again they have 8 wins).

Yes the great Belichick could not seem to figure it out the week before but all the 'I told you so crowd' loves this drama.

I've been preaching for a long time that we need to change up our cadence so I have zero issues there. But trying to blame that on Pouncey is a bit of a reach and then using one of the worst D Lines in the league as an example to somehow show an improvement with him out of the lineup is weak.

Garner forced 2 false starts again the next week against the Carolina Panthers. Despite the fact that the Panthers have maybe the best front 7 in football, we did not have a particularly bad day in terms of rushing average or sacks allowed, compared to our season averages.

All I know is, the more the team protests that this isn't an issue, the more I will continue to be convinced that it is.

Wtf? Maybe McKinnie should be our o-coordinator. Sherman is an incompetant fool if this is true, and Philbin is worse for hiring him. What a joke.

It was tannehills suggestion. He thinks the current cadence sucks. He is the onpy one who comes up with good ideas.

Maybe if the make the cadence a combination of gun manufactures and calibers Pouncey will remember it!

i have been say this forever. go-go = run from day one. go = pass and then hike the ball WTF!!!!!!

Isn't it strange that a the Patriots and Jets coaching staff didn't pick up on it also? The whole thing is weirdo 101

What are the defensive rankings this year on those 3 teams? The Bills almost beat the pats at the very start of the season. Their defense would present problems for almost any team. They outcoached us, plain and simple.

Man, if only we had McCoy as coach. We would be 8-7 right now........

Hey, Dorothy, look it's a Strawman.

WTF, does McCoy's ability or lack thereof, or that of any other coach, have to do with analyzing whether the Fins' staff is any good?

Don't you think this coaching staff deserves any credit? Not even for the way it handled the Martin situation?

.

This coaching staff is a broad statement.

A select few are responsible for questionable play calling...... Ahem.... Sherman

Conversely some of the staff are directly responsible for keeping this team from collapsing when things hit rock bottom.
