Well, at least someone recognized it.
You're right. The go-go's are not the problem. It's the tells between Jerry and Pouncey (mainly Pouncey). When dumb fans like me can tell when the snap is going to happen from the comfort of my living room while being lit up on alcohol, this can only mean on thing.
This is absolutely a coaching problem.
Joe saying his team was not flat against Buffalo is a flat out lie or he has no pulse of his team.
Honest question and this has nothing to do with the coaching staff. But, how can you as an individual player come out FLAT for any game this time of the year? Seriously? None of us on the board I suspect are "professional players" but yet I can't help but think many of us playing pickup games come out with more fire and desire than half of these players.
Why the hell does a coaching staff need to motivated ANYONE during this time of the season?? I really don't get it.
It is up to the player individually to motivate themselves. However, a coach can set a tone and lead the team to a pitch come 1pm on game day.
A team reflects their HC. It should not surprise anyone that they cannot "get up" for games. I totally believe that will be shown tomorrow.
Case in point, New England gameday thread comments on Philbin's use of timeouts before the half, like a minute before we scored what turned out to be a very important TD:
