Merged: 2008 Schedule/First Game!

This schedule is a joke. Unfortunately we're not that good to take advantage of it but the only really tough games outside of our division are both at home vs SD and Seattle.

To be realistic, we will probably be 1-3 to start the season with one win on opening day. We should be able to take 2 of the next 4 games with wins vs Balt and Buff. We will get another 2 wins over the next quarter of the season with wins vs Oakland and the Rams.

The final 4 games are a bit tricky though. We could be on the rise which would give us an extra push to take out Buffalo in Toronto or get smacked. Is that game in a dome? SF was over rated last season but you can't look past their defense which will get better. I just don't know how that Mike Martz offense will help out their defense. They may be too worn down by that point in the season.

Then the final 2 games are vs weak teams who are very solid at home. Combine the potential for bad weather with their home field advantage and these 2 games are loses. We would have to be a team of destiny to escape those places with wins.

The realist in me says 6 wins. If we can reach 6 wins and get good effort in the final few games and I see this season as a victory. If Beck, Brown, Ginn, and our #1 all perform up to their expectations, I will be very excited for 2009.

The Fins fan in me says 4-2 in the division (3-1 vs Jets and Buffalo), 1-1 vs NE. We'll beat Balt, Oakland, St Louis, 49ers, KC, and Denver. That puts us at 10-6 with close loses @AZ, @Houston, and vs Seattle. And a few bad beats @ NE (blizzard hits Foxboro in late September), @ Jets (we're not used to that much noise), and vs San Diego (my Superbowl favorite).

Here's to hoping vegas posts a win total of 5 or less for us.:hi5:

It is in a dome.....you luck out late season for a road game in the north.

I feel it in My bones 2 & 0 start........................That is if We obtain two OL studs and JT stays in the fold............

All accept for the drive home. That flat out sucks, it takes me an extra 2hrs. to get back to OH because of the traffic on US322.

What I really want is a Flyers-Pens game in Jan. man that would be sweet. >107,000 puckheads!
I usually stay in State College for the night(We have an RV) and drive home Sunday morning.

I know there was some talk about a Flyers/Pens game sometime soon at Beaver. That would be awesome.

This week is the Blue and White game.

You think Denver is going to be easy? We should have lost to Baltimore last year, also not a stretch to lose that one this year and Oakland destroyed us last year too.

I like your optimism, but its safe to say that we definately could lose those games.

Im telling you guys there will be almost a split of Dolphins and Bills fans at this game.......Miami is home too soo many Dolphins fans....Id say Bills fans first, then Cowboys, then Dolphins....When we play in Buffalo, bus loads of Fins fans from Toronto and the surrounding area go to Buffalo for the game....I guarantee there will be a very large contingent of Fins fans....SOOO excited but gonna be soooooo expensive

NFL Network just said we play our away game against buffalo in toronto. Talk about cold and snow!

Toronto is a dome so the Bills lose a December home game outdoors.
