This was the guy who finished second to Saban last year if we did a broad coaching search. He's very smart, young, and capable. Give me a break Philly has a very capable offense with their RBs healthy. Yes they have lit up the NFL before...
 
The good news, I'm sorry, the GREAT news is that Childress' affinity for the WCO - along with his rep of making Donovan McNabb into a 'star' - means that the probability of Minnesota keeping their crappy starting QB, Daunte Culpepper, to themselves just went way up.

Daunte and Donovan both scramble, but common they're not the same type of QB. One is great at bombing it deep, the other at moving around and hitting a TE in the endzone.

Dont kid yourself, Brad Childress is one of the best out there. Andy Reid has pressured him to pass far too much over the past season, thats why the Eagles offense struggled. But i have a feeling he will do a very good job with that team in Minnesota, you'll see.
 
I started a thread on this but it has not got much response do you think TO can end up in Minny because he knows Childress? It can be a possibility!

Childress has actually deserved a HC job for 3 years now dude. Several teams just aren't patient enough to wait for playoff cordinators to get eliminated.

Cheap would've been hiring Martz,Sherman, or any other coach that just got fired.

i think jim bates can be a good coach.at first i was dissapointed when we didnt make him our head coach but ow i know what wayne saw in saban
 
Off topic...but Bates is great...I loved him when he had control for a few games here...
