The cut saves us 1.1 million. He had a 300,000 bonus and 1.1 million salary

So we eat 300k
Not if it was his original signing bonus from last year. 150k of it would have counted last year since St.Clair signed a 2 year contract with us in 2004.

I wonder though, since we wanted Berger to begin with, why did we risk losing him when he was waived on the final cutdown and not claim him when we claimed Eckel, Heller, McGill and Jackson? We could have terminated St.Clair at that time.

We did release Glenn, and then we re-signed him back onto the team.

Dolphins | Glenn Released, then Re-signed

The Miami Dolphins released LB Jason Glenn, then re-signed him, as the team had to clear a roster space Tuesday, Sept. 6, for the signing of CB Kiwaukee Thomas.

The Wanny era is quickly being erased along with the 4-12 record. ASk Crowder, he shall be Saban's fury on the field and representation of what SABAN whats out of his defense. That would be pure fury.

Joe Berger, 6'5", 303 lbs, Michigan Tech.

This guy has the reputation of being a very good trap blocker. He ran a 5.18 forty and had 30 reps of 225 lbs at the combine. He's got good quickness, is a good positional blocker, and is stong at the point of attack, but he isn't what I would call a true power blocker. He probably is being projected to the center position due to his finess style of blocking and ability to move.

I think that's false. The official website doesn't say anything about that. We didn't sign Thomas on the 6th. We officially signed him today.

Edit: Nevermind. I just listened to Saban's conference. He said Glenn was on and off.

that's what I guess..and thats a smart move

thats exactly what i was thinking when i first read about all this. This is so well planned out its crazy. Not cheating they system, but using it to their advantage to get as many people that they think are promising on their roster.

Jason Glenn was never released, whoever came up with that is just pulling stuff out of their rear. Thomas was signed, taking the place of Eckel on the 53 man roster since he was called to duty. St. Clair was cut and replaced by Berger. Glenn was nowhere involved. This really isn't that complicated people.
