MERGED 8X: Pasquarelli on JT's new role

Hes better fit to be given open space to persue, rather than line up against the LT all game, IMO. I can't wait to see this.

Taylor, more than just a DE

Looks like Taylor will be used all around the field this year...I saw this yesterday and still havnt seen anyone post it so here! :D

Anyone notice that weve had more features in ESPN over the last six months than weve had over the previous six years?

Hmmm.....

[QUOTE1) Did I spell versatility right?
2) Has this been posted?[/QUOTE]

Only 4 other times. ;)

sounds like our defense will be tough and unpredictable, Taylor will be a force since nobody can guess where he will be on the field. I wonder if we can also do the same thing with Matt Roth, he was a linebacker who converted into DE

At least you know he isn't leaving the team anytime soon because hes becoming more valuable everytime he lines up somewhere else.

Nice read! great thread

Good read, it appears JT has softened his stance (or the stance his agent said he had) against moving away from a conventional 4-3 defense and being moved around from DE to OLb, etc..

So, just so I have this straight: Pasquarelli is a good guy this week, yes? A genius, even?

I wanted to be sure before the board condemns him en masse the next time he writes something everyone doesn't like.

I think, for the most part, Pasquarelli is one of the good guys when it comes to Dolphins reporting. I've always liked him. He, Pat Kirwan and Mort are really the only 3 national reporters I really pay attention to.

That's a great article. I can imagine the danger J.T. can provide. Vrabel is great but Taylor is quicker, bigger, more aggressive, more agile and just as-if not smarter.
