Rohan Davey CUT!!!

I just read on another site that the Boston Globe just reported a couple of Patriot cuts which included Davey and Cedric Cobb. Sorry; don't know how to link. Given the discussions of the last few days; thought everyone might like to know!
Personally I would love to get him in here and let this current coaching staff make their own informed decision on whether he is an upgrade over what we have.
Should be interesting!
 
He has potential, but isnt that the case with all back ups?
 
If the price is right I really do think that Saban will pick him up especially considering he coached him at LSU.
 
I would definately bring him in......cut Sage, he has had years to develope into anything more than 3rd string, with no real talent to speak of ahead of him on the depth chart and has never made the jump.

Cut Sage, bring in Davey.
 
I tend to think Saban will pick up Davey, but maybe not right now. I mean, who is gonna pick up Davey? I think Saban might wait and see what happens and then pick him up on the bye week or something.

i think Saban likes Sage. Then again, he didnt play in the last game at all, so what do I know?

I can't think of a team thats in greater need at the QB position than our Dolphins except maybe the Bears.

We would have first shot at him after the Niners on the wire, I'm not sure what kind of contract he was under with the Pats.
 
i saw him play back when he was the QB at LSU.

his body motion while throwing a pass is so strange to watch. he throws the ball like a balled up piece of paper. it looks like hes throwing a 5 yard lob pass, but the ball goes 50 yards.

i had high expectatons of this guy in the NFL. he will get a job somewhere.
 
I have a feeling Davey will be invited to camp veeeery soon.
