i just saw it on sportscenter, didn't hear the specifics though

hopefully brown will be signed and ready to go by the HoF game. this is good news
 
Awesome news. I don't care what we pay Ronnie. Let's get him practicing. I'd love to see a 7 year deal :)
 
yea i like the 7 year deal better with ronnie. that way when he becomes Pro bowl status we still have him for years to come
 
I would expect for Brown to sign by atleast Wed, along with a 6 year contract.

so the size of his contract should determine what kind of stats he puts up?

Maybe for a FA, but not a rookie.

It shouldn't determine his stats, but if you pay a guy $50 million, you better believe the expectations are going to be there.

Just like if you pay $300 for a car, or $300,000 you are expecting different things from them. :cool:

i dont think they expected Brees to have as good a season as he did. Rivers was expected tp play last season IMO. Brown WILL be playing for us in his first yr.
 
Alex Smith will sign

Monday just reported on NFL Total Access. It is reportedly a 6 year worth app 51 million dollars. A 24 million dollar signing bonus so hopefully Ronnie will sign and we can afford him.
