NO ONE was trading up under any circumstances, that is clear now. Some of us tried to tell you guys that but everyone was on the "trade down" bandwagon. Saban out-thought his own self.

At least now he can tell pothead to go jump in the Indian Ocean and we can put that behind us.

Maybe we can trade Zach and Jason for Philip Rivers. Or all of next year's draft for Leinart. Oh well.

Rule 1: QB IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POSITION. We need to BUST ourselves to get a Franchise QB. Whatever it takes. THEN we compete again.

yeah i think nobody wanted to trade with saban. It would have costed the trading team two first rounders. I really think think they wanted smith but the 9ers tried got smith so they could have leverage trading. Well it backfired as soon as they aquired Smith, cleveland came calling for a possible trade and I guess it didnt pan out.

We all know Rodgers was a better fit for SF but they screwed up..ohh well hope rodgers falls low so we can get him (which I doubt)

What a break for the Packers if Rodgers falls to him. I think he will be solid in the NFL and will get a year to learn unlike Alex Smith... GreenMonster

i agree, he should get scooped up...cant let him go that low...
 
Take money out of the situwation and Rodgers I think will be happy to go to the Pack... Smith on the other hand I believe will have a David Carr like year, meeting most of the leagues D-Lineman and Linebackers on unfriendly terms... GreenMonster
 
I think Rodgers will be a Packer too. I love the Brown pick. Watching the highlight package on him, running, catching out of the back field, blocking downfield and picking up the blitz, he can do it all. Auburns Headcoach who coached Duece at Ole Miss, said Ronnie Brown is a better and more polished RB. Good job Nick, now let's concentrate on round 2.
