You get 2 for 1 with Brown, a hardnose RB with WR hands, can play slot and cause problems for D's...think about it.
 
I love how Saban handle the pre draft press..he worked them and did what hes paid to do.Did it hurt any of us? No..it actually helped by getting the 2nd we wanted for Surtain.Keep it up,Nick.
 
Give it a rest, I would have love to screw over some team and move down and still get Brown at 7, but oh well. Now let's just get Frye at 46 and a OL at 70 and call it day.

Brown or Edwards represents a major upgrade - lets be grateful for at least one day.

You really must be joking. Sammy Morris is a lot closer to being a starting RB, than Feelme is at being a starting QB. Gus will be the starter, but only for one year. And Gus is not the guy to lead us to a SB. We HAVE to get a QB with our 2nd round pick. If Cambell is not there then will have to get Walters or Frye or even Orton. If they happens to be a run on QBs and they are all gone, then we have to consider the FSU gambler. We have to get a NFL caliber QB at some point to start the rebuilding process. QB is the most important position and the one position that we are weakest.:shakeno:

NO ONE was trading up under any circumstances, that is clear now. Some of us tried to tell you guys that but everyone was on the "trade down" bandwagon. Saban out-thought his own self.

Maybe we can trade Zach and Jason for Philip Rivers. Or all of next year's draft for Leinart. Oh well.

Rule 1: QB IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POSITION. We need to BUST ourselves to get a Franchise QB. Whatever it takes. THEN we compete again.

And if he drafts some vick slash guy, I AM OUT.
