Espn's john clayton says...

miami might get T.O. next year according to Clayton they are one of server possiblites along w/ den (he said to be the most likley), minn and a couple others that i cant remember.
what you guys think?

I would accept TO on the team. Anyone with that much talent that shows up to prepare for games and play, which he does, is welcome on my team from my perspective. All the other stuff is clutter and I'm convinced now more than ever that the Eagles were just stupid and immature in their handling of Terrell Owens.

In the latest incident, Hugh Douglass, who works for the team now as an "ambassador" or whatever, just got into a fight with TO. Punches were thrown. Onlookers compared it to WWE Smackdown. When TO was done he looked at all the rest of his teammates, called out McNabb and others and asked if anyone else wants a piece of TO. The Eagles are so fricking stupid. They're letting themselves get dragged through the mud by a simple player. If they'd handled this situation with maturity in the first place, TO would not be allowed to be anywhere near the distraction that he is now.

Nov 6 Mark Eckel, of the Trenton Times, reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Terrell Owens had a fistfight with former defensive end and current team ambassador Hugh Douglas. The fight occurred in front of several of his teammates. According to one of the sources the Owens-Douglas fight "was like WWE Smackdown." Another source said both men threw at least two punches during the altercation and when it was over Owens challenged QB Donovan McNabb first and then everyone else in the room saying, "You want some. Anyone else want some." The Eagles refused to comment about the situation, other than the statement that revealed Owens' suspension. Owens and Douglas have been at odds since training camp and almost got into an altercation in an elevator at Lehigh University.

Wow i hadn't heard this....Douglas had reportedly been upset that T.O refused to acknowledge him when i tried to piece the situation back together in training camp. Mark Eckel is a solid reporter who knows his stuff about the Birds, i still hadn't heard anything about this but now i am really stunned.

Uh oh, you just opened a can of worms here. I can see why Clayton says that. T.O. has always considered Miami a possibility even though he wanted to go somewhere with a good QB. I think the reason is he likes the area. It's T.O.'s kind of town.

Regardless of whether or not you want T.O. on the phins, there's little doubt in my mind that Nick Saban is one of the few coaches with the maturity to handle Terrell Owens. He can't be dominated like Mooch, and he won't get too angry and get drawn into T.O.'s game like Andy Reid has been.

Saban won't put up with his crap, nor do we need the cap hit.

Saban wouldn't put up with the crap for sure, but we have the cap room to absorb a good salary for a good player. Reid is not exactly "putting up" with TO's crap either, but I think their mistake has been being immature and unbending with regards to TO. You need to be adaptable to handle different kinds of players.

Ahem...

Ricky Williams for Terrell Owens?

TO-Chambers-Brown-McMichael

Wow.

God I hope not! Talk about a cancer. I think TO will be lucky if he's playing next year

Eh....i wouldn't go that far. T.O if he's given what he wants can be a very valuable asset to a team, including the Phins. I just dont want the guy destroying the locker room like he's so good at. But if the club house leaders and Coach Saban were able to sort him out....maybe we could use his power for good :D

no one wants his attitude but he'll end up somewhere, i think it will be denver most likely, i think minnesota is a small possibility as is atlanta, as for us we have a possibility in it but we wont, it wont playout, we wont even look into it that much
