that's very interesting.....VERY interesting.

Ya take him in a second. Get some excitement on this team. We have not had offensive excitement in a decade.

oh yea....cuz T.O.'s career is just full of wise moves!

Wise enough to be a millionaire and the most dominant catcher in the NFL. Ya he is a lot to stomach but the facts are the facts.

With all this T.O. talk going around (speculation spreads like Herpes you know), I decided that I should get in on the action. Do you guys think Saban could make T. O. cry? Assuming he goes to Miami which I doubt. He made Manny Wright cry, who was immature and T.O. whines as much as any 12 year old girl.

A little biased with Saban's abilities are we. He makes a rookie cry, and suddenly he is the man to break down TO. TO might do better in Pitts with a proven coach of tough men.

Ricky is more exciting than TO is. Ricky gave us Dolphins excitement when we needed it and put alot of effort and pain into carrying our pathetic offense after wanny forced Marino to choose to retire or go somewhere else. If it wasn't for Ricky we would have been wanting our D on the feild because they gave us a better chance of scoring. TO has never been that type of player and if you want someone throwing hissy fits and cussing your team from top to bottom then that may be the type of excitement you need but I'm sure none of the Dolphins and the majority of us fans say we don't even want him being associated with our sport muchless ruining our teams image and putting down our teams legacy. He has ruined two organizations and I don't want him to ruin the rest of what wanny/speilman did'nt already screw up.

I would love to see him showing everyone how much we need a QB. But after thinking clearly TO would be a waste for a team like ours. We have no need, or ability to keep, or make happy a player of his ability. Sad but true. Imagine him calling for better QB play on our team!

lets realistically talk terrrel owens

i know 99 percent of you will say no, hes this hes that. im not saying hes a good guy but hes an amazing reciever. chris chambers is not a #1 reciever but hed be an amazing number 2. if t.o. gets cut, and it looks like it could happen, should we try to claim him? we could sign him to a contract with incentives that would make him a ton of money and maybe that would make him happy. all that i am saying is that he might be worth the risk because he single handedly makes you a good offense. weve got no one to throw it to him, but with our running game, and chambers and mcmichael on the field with him, someone is going to be wide open, and the recievers would be too dangerous for defenses to zero in on the running game. we might be one T.O away from the division and a decent run in the playoffs. as it is you see our offense beginning to come along. you cant question that t.o. would make us ten times better on offense. how else are you going to get someone that good without having to give up a pick? its possible he could come here and everything would work out. as long as hed take an incentive based contract for now. and then if he performs, pay the man.

its easily possible that we can afford him....... but the two questions that remain would be...........

1) would saban want to spend a good chunk of the money we just fixed in our salary on a reciever when we have other needs first.

and

2) Could T.O. be happy playing for an unproven QB.... Which is likely what we will end up with next year.

I dont think he'd come here anyway.

He's got a thing about his QB's and if he thinks Jeff Garcia and McNabb suck or whatever he's got another thing comming if he shows up here.

The problem with Chris Chambers as a #2 WR is he's not paid like one. He's paid like a #1, and I think he can be a #1, with a QB that actually throws accurate passes and has a good arm.

You need a QB to get the ball to the recievers, TO would be a deep threat, but not even TO can make a play on what Gus is throwing. It's not like our recievers haven't been getting open, it's that Gus' accuracy just stinks.

We are 1 QB from making the playoffs IMO. Even if we do get the cancer TO someone's gotta throw him the football. We have talented WR's/TE as it is, and Gus can't get them the ball. What's another receiver. Plus I don't want him on the Fins.

I'll be shocked if we ever see Owens in an Eagles uniform again. He's going to have to be traded because he's completely burned the bridge with this team and his teammates. If the Eagles are smart, they'll try to get a power running back in return for Owens. However, if the Randy Moss trade is any barometer, the market for a talented but troublesome receiver may be limited.

Question: Would you trade our power running back (RW) in exchange for a talented but troublesome reciever (TO)? Is there anything else Philly could provide to sweeten the deal that would tip your opinion?
I know the contract disparity between the two is huge. (for the sake of this response - let's set that aside)

Sure, If T.O. dosen't want to play for Donavan McNabb he'd be much happier and a total team player being thrown passes by Gus or Sage right?

I don't think so.
Just say no to T.O.

We can add TO, Randy Moss, all the Pro Bowl WRs in the league and still suck because of our QB. If TO was angry at Donovan wait till he meets Gus. He'll be complaining about why the fans in the stadium have a better chance of catching a Gus pass. If we had a quality QB right now, he might be worth a look. But for now, someone needs to tell TO to act his age.

Pasquarelli: Denver, Miami, New Orleans possible T. O. suitors

Nothing firm -- just his speculation. I apologize if this has already been posted, but I didn't see it.
