Most likely because we will be one of the only ones with the cap space. I dont see us taking a chance on him though. We have other ways we need to spend that money.

Somehow I don't see T.O. as a Saban type of player....then again....he took Ricky back.

Gosh could you even imagine how hard he would be if Gus were his QB. I can see it now probably not a word the first time he is wide open and Gus misses him but the second and third time, oh boy. I certainly wouldn't want to take a player like this on, he is an absoulte cancer. I bet that the next contract he signs is low and iron clad.

I don't see how he would want to come here (he might not have that many options though). We would have to pick up one heck of a good (and experienced) QB in the off season. I could probably put up w/him on a 1 year deal.

Listening to Tony Kornheiser's show this morning on the way to work, he seems to think TO will go to the Redskins. Why and how, I don't know, or care.

That's my 2 cents :)

I don;t think TO would be a good macth for Miami next year. We need to get a rookie QB in here next year, and if TO is horrendous to veteran Qbs (as he's been in SF and Philly), how would you think he'd be with a rook? Just not a good match for us.

Two words explain why Pastabelli thinks Owens could wind up in Miami: Drew Rosenhaus.

Four words explain why I think Owens won't wind up in Miami: Nick Saban. Gus Frerotte.

C'mon, do you really think Gus will be our QB next year. Get real.

there is a big difference between what t.o. did and what ricky did

Ricky and TO are MUCH different people.

Ricky isnt a cancer and isnt a problem in the locker room. He doesnt start fights and doesnt criticize his teammates. The Eagles could care less what TO did off the field. Its when his antics started to effect the team that they had to cut him.

TO is a cancer. I would seriously question Saban if he signed TO. TO is 32 years old now, he isnt going to want to play for a semi-rebuilding team. He wants to win a SB and wants to play with a QB who can get him the ball. Not a rookie next year OR Gus Frerotte.

The only reason we were listed is we have cap space and because of Rosenhaus. We dont need a cancer like TO taking up a lot of our cap space when we have SO many other holes on this team that need to be patched up.

Gus won't be his QB, even if he became a Dolphin. Why? Cause Gus will be lucky to be on the roster next year. No way is Saban foolish enough to let Gus start in 06.. I see us with Rivers or a rookie.

Just say no to T.O. There is no way I would ever want him in a Dolphin uniform. I don't care how good he is or how many games he could help win. He is a self-centered egomaniac that does not deserve the opportunities he has been given. The Eagles, on the other hand, deserve whatever comes their way from this because they knew what they were getting. It is my hope that he never plays in the NFL again. But of course some owner who cares more about winning a couple more games a year than the image and integrity of his team and the NFL will make a deal for him. That's my two-cents.
