I think saying you would take Ricky back but would not take Owens back is hypocritical. We're really talking about off the field issues, and Owens has off the field baggage, but so does McMichael, Williams, what Owens does on the field and it makes him worth bringing in. The Eagles just blew up there season by suspending Owens and they won't be a playoff team because of it. McNabb was out of shape in the SB and may have cost his team the game while Owens risked his career for the team, but McNabb is a media darling and since the Limbaugh incident nobody will criticize him because it is a touchy subject. Owens is a top 3 wideout, so I would take him with the baggage because it makes the team 2-3 games better which could be the difference between playoffs and staying at home or even home field and buy compared to going on the road for 3 straight games.

T.O. a FiN ! ! ! ! !(posters wish)

Let me start off by saying that I thought everything T.O. has done off the field the last couple of years has been Stupid and Selfish. He just needs another fresh start. On the field he's still a top 10 player in this league, no one can dispute that. T.O. has got to be smart enough to understand that wherever he goes next he just has to shut up and play, because if he doesn't he'll never play in this league again.

I believe the Dolphins should try and sign T.O. to a 2-3 year deal because he will help us reached the promised land IMMEDIATELY. Saban is a tough enough character that can sort of control T.O. off the field and Nick knows than on the field he'll have a great runningback,a great WR, and a great TE at all times. You just can't pass up that opportunity.

There is a few factors working in favor of T.O. coming to Miami:

1. Drew Rosenhaus is his agent (works well with Dolphins)
2. Saban accepted Ricky back, why not T.O. (No drug problems, just large mouth)
3. We need a TRUE #1 WR (Chambers as a #2 will be AMAZING)
4. Dolphins are WAY under the salary cap (Don't overpay T.O. but lure him in)
5. T.O. did his only radio show with 790 The Ticket, a miami station.

Whether you guys agree or not, T.O. will make us CONTENDERS IMMEDIATELY!!

T.O. to Miami !!!!!!!

Does anyone honestly believe we have a QB, or even the prospects of getting a QB, who could get TO and Chambers both to have 1000 yard seasons?

TO is a cancer in the locker room. I agree he would make us a contender immediately. BUT, to do that he'd need to shut up and be part of a team. Would he be capable of that? He hasn't proved that in his last 10 years.

Saban is really into team chemistry. Which to me automatically means that TO will never be part of the Dolphins. To me, I'm okay with that.

I can only hope TO doesnt go to Miami. If McNabb doesnt meet his requiremts for a qb, he will never be happy. The chances of Miami having anyone better then McNabb next year are almost zero. Itd be a nightmare.
I only hope someday TO realizes what he is throwing away. How many of us, would love to have that much physical ability? If he only had a little bit of mental ability to go along with it.

Short term contract

I agree TO would impact not only our offense but opposing defenses.

With legit run game, and now an outside deep threat, it will create havoc for opposing defenses.

It will also open up McMike in the middle. Major problem for defenses to scheme.

I would offer a 1 year contract incentive laden with 1 option year.

Unfortunately, I don't believe in our defense to get us into the playoffs or deep if we did get in having TO on the team.

Miami has significant needs at Corner and QB.

:yeahthat:

T.O. has mental problems, this is not a rational man and this is not something that is going to change with a change of scenery. I heard a general manager say the same sort of things happened Philly happened in SF. They tried to get him counseling becuase he thought everone in the organization was against him. Unlike Ricky who admitted to having a problem with Marijuana and made changes in his life TO has done nothing and you could only expect the same attitude in Miami. Could you imagine him after Ferotte missed him wideopen numerous times in a game.

I'd rather have Frerotte miss an open T.O. than miss an open Chambers, enough said.

Nothing says team chemistry like bringing back a guy that QUIT on the ENTIRE TEAM a week before training camp. He's back because he helps us win right?? Well Terrell Owens will help us DOMINATE this division for a couple of years!!

TO definitely is definitely a problem for any team, but the guy can just flat out play. That guarantees him a job despite his age for the next few years. Its so tempting to say that I would want to be in the mix for him, but at the same time, I definitely dont want to see the Fins dealing with the crap TO is causing in Philly. So right now, I really dont know what to say. All I know is that one of the best WR's in NFL history is going to be a free agent and playing for someone else next year.

TO realizes his mistakes, I guarantee you he will shut up already and play.

2006 Phinz = Rivers / Brown / Williams / Chambers / Owens......

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I really like the looks of that.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!
