Nice idea, but Oakland just gave Porter a 10 million signing bonus. That would be too much of a cap hit for them to take.

The last time I checked, they're all hoping they can make a run at TO as well. I guess we're not the only stupid fans in the NFL afterall. You don't want TO, fine, you've made that clear. But don't go around calling us who are interested..."stupid".

My question to everyone who wants TO is, with the cap in place, why would you want to pay a player like him any money up front & have him pull this samething on you & have to take a large cap hit to get rid of him?

Nope, he does not have to be that smart. Everyone thought he would be smart in Philly & look. TO is a simple distraction & no team needs that, no matter how talented he is.

What makes you think TO would help Miami reach the promised land, since he has never helped any other team get there?

Philly went to the SB without TO & lost with him.

Now they look like a shell of their former self just a year later with him & all his distraction.




Saban will not touch TO for no amount of money. He is not that stupid.

Only had one offseason with Saban running the show. I do not think we can say he works good with Miami. He did with DW/RS but that is only because they were his *****.


Totally different situation.


Chambers would be a fine No. 1 if QB would ever deliever a catchable ball more than twice a game.

Again how is that? Again he has never made any team a contender & both teams he has played for went down the longer he was on the team.

Good lord! How long did that post take?
 
The guy will be 32 this time next year. We need to go younger on the offensive side of the ball. As we can see a 34 year old at the helm leads to horrible results. Or maybe that's just cause GUS SUCKS.

I Know these threads are annoying but I dont post threads very often. I think if you somehow get Brees to Miami T.O would be sure to follow. I am not a fan of T.O's off the field conduct but I enjoy his play on the field. I enjoy the showing off on the field as well what is the point in scoring if you can't enjoy it the way you want to.

Bear with me though, If we got Carr or Rivers or some sweet QB in the offseason, can you imagine our offense with Ricky, Ronnie, Owens, Chambers, McMichael and a revamped O-line? An incentive laden contract might shut TO up. Can't a boy dream!!! Saban is pretty smart, he might be able to make it all work.

I got some news for ya, you're gonna be waiting for quite a while. Nobody said they thought he was going to sign to play in Miami for the vet minimum. 1 poster said he would take TO for the vet minimum, but didn't say he thought it was going to happen. Maybe someone should go back and read the thread again, or keep waiting for a taker for a bet that's never gonna happen....;)
