Mel kipper. The idiot who said zach couldnt play in the nfl, JT was a 6th round pick and ryan leaf was the next coming of Marino/elway combined....

He's a "Draft Guru" that is wrong 60% of the time...

Mel Kiper has forgotten more about college football then you, me and most of this site COMBINED will ever know.

I have a good feeling that T.O. ends up here, which would make our team an easy favorite in the division....PERIOD! Saban can control "risky players" such as Ricky Williams(Quit on the team and has failed the drug policy twice yet playing very good), David Boston(coming off injury and steroids suspension), so i ultimately believe T.O. wont be a huge problem like he was in SF and Philly(3 strikes and ur out)

And keep in mind that having this lineup:
Terrell Owens
Chambers
Ronnie
Ricky
McMichael
Booker
Welker

CAN HELP ANY QB SUCCEED!!

im not sure how much they can help an inaccurate qb like frerotte. but they would definitely help a weaker armed accurate qb.

T.O is a guy thats hates weak armed QB's he would probally rather have Gus throwing deep than a guy with less arm and more accuracy

Good points

and like i said he wont mess up again and if he does he is out of the NFL

I think he needs to dump his agent, Drew was the problem in Philli more than T.O, In San Fran it was All T.O though

Thats not true at all. Drew just acts out what his clients want. If TO wanted more money drew was gonna fight for more money. It's up to TO to say "OK this is my life, my reputation and im gonna keep my mouthshut and play" I don't agree with drews way of doing business, but TO had complete control of the situation and could have told drew to backdown or just get out of the way on issues involving his teamates or coaches, but didnt do anything.

I think whatever team TO goes to he will be fine. Not because he is a good person or team player, but because he basically has to behave. We won't get paid like a top 20 WR anymore. If he has behavior issues again i wouldn't be surprised if the most he was offered is the vets min.

A player has to trust his agent to know what he's saying and doing, especially a big time agent like drew

if you have someone considerd the best agent in the league, and he says you deserve more money and a new contract, and he has been successful in getting his players the deals they want, and you hired him for career guidance, sry thats not T.O's fault really

I wouldnt be surprized if MIami ends up with Winning the AFC EAST next year.
We have so much money in cap that i say we get 4 nasty players in Free agents.

WE get Julian Peterson

We get Woodson

We get David Carr or Air Mcnair

We get T.O.

Plus the draft
Jesus this team is goign to be amazing

Unless I missed something the Dolphins will only be around 12-14 million under the cap next year...no way in hell we get all that.

Hell, I'll be surprised if Saban signs ANY of those players.

The only player I'll give a maybe to is Julian Peterson. ONLY because we need an outside linebacker because Junior won't be back. I think we'll draft an outside linebacker anyway.

Woodsen is overrated, a cancer and over priced.

David Carr is not a free agent.

Steve McNair is a 32 year old Q.B. in a 45 year old body. I'd consider signing him for a 2 year deal in the 3 million dollar a year range...the Titans can and probably will pay him that.

T.O.? How many times does the guy have to throw his team under the bus, insult teammates and act like a selfish moron before people realize he is POISEN to a team?

This team won't be built with high priced under achievers. Free agency is used to fill holes (i.e. Kevin Carter, Vonnie Holliday) with vets who fit the system. Free agency is NOT USED to build a team.

The ONLY free agents who we should be giving big ticket deals to are YOUNG free agents, Steve Hutchinson and LeCharles Bentley are perfect examples of this. Players that are coming into their primes and will be playing at a high level for the next 5+ years. Unfortunatley players like them are often franchised so we won't have a shot.

I'd give Steve Hutchinson whatever he wanted though. He's the best offensive guard in the game...I wonder if the Seabags will forget to resign him.

Thats not TOs fault, but TO has always tried to solve his problems through the media. I think that will be the teams biggest concern.

the texans are cutting the final year of carrs contract he will be a free agent

we will have 15 Mill in cap room, which is a lot when you manage the signing bonuses the right way, we could sign 2 maybe 3 solid FA's

T.O, Peterson, and maybe Mcnair

Hows is that not TO's fault? TO purposely hired a new agent to get a new deal... TO is a 30 year old man and needs to take responsibitiy into his own hands. As a 10 year vet how much career guidance do you need? Some older players contiplate working out there own deals w/out even hiring an agent b/c they know the ins and outs of the business. Everything that happened to TO is 100% HIS fault. He wouldnt even have been in the situation w/the eagles if he didnt virtually run himself out of SF whitch prevented him from being a FA in 05' and he could have gone werever the offer was the best rather than just philly(or baltimore)<----he even made a big deal out of that ordeal. Bottomline is TO controlled his destiny from the get go not some agent, and HE blew it. Don't point fingers for the guy trying to make excuses for him.

Carr won't be cut. I think it's a $10M signing bonus that is due and they will pay it. David Carr is not the problem in Houston, everyone acknowledges that in Houston. They will get reggie bush with the #1 pick.

I did'nt know you were a member of the Texans front office.

Everything I've read says the Texans will pay the bonus.

$15 million in cap room is a lot...but I'd rather have the cap room to resign OUR own players as they become established and deserve extensions...

Remember, in todays NFL, with the way SMART teams manage their cap, the reason players become free agents 95% of the time is because they are flawed.

I see it this way

Saban will not back down to T.O if he plays here, Saban will make him play within the team, besides it would be T.O's last chance, if he messes up he is out of the NFL and he knows that, he will keep his mouth shut at least one season

I see it the way you see it too.
