McMichael should have caught that, but Gus had the opportunity to make that an easier play and he didn't.

But I'm willing to give some of the third quarter but if he continues to be ineffective then that's gotta be it man, we can't afford to go 3-5.

Hey man, I have been the biggest defender of not benching Gus because I realize that to have give players time to find their comfort level and also said before are other options aren't all that appetizing, but this is game eight and I have noticed in just about every game Gus keeps over-throwing receivers and it seems like he might reach that comfort zone and if that's the case it will be tough for us to win football games.
 
Not to dis of defend!

I usually try to support the team no matter who is playing but the truth is Gus needs help. The dropped pass to Chris was way to low and I won't get into the over throws one more stat that needs to be pointed out is how many tipped at the line balls gus gets. He doesn't know how to find passing lanes!!!!!

Oh com'on, he was wide open and Gus had plenty of time not to rush it, an NFL quarterback has to make a better throw.
 
Instead of calling them Gusketeers, we should be calling them Guskequ***s.

Is that a TOS, even with the asterisks?

Are you guys watching the game? Frerotte has done nothing wrong. Chambers dropped 2 balls, and McMichael dropped one in the endzone. With those catches, that would put frerotte at 9/11.

Gus has done nothing wrong? What exactly has he done right is a better question.

For sure, but it is his last name. I say put in Sage there are no playoffs for us this year anyway. We would have to be a completely different team for the last seven games. Give Rose a shot.

Who's defending him? I know he sucks. McMike had the ball in his hands. That was a good throw. Gus shouldn't be in the game, he's screwing everything else up.
 
I agrree, Gus might just provide a spark. I think we need to get Chambers out of there too, he seems to do more harm then good.

Brady Quinn looks really good right now with what we have. Gus just doesnt put enough zip on his passes when its needed or not. The falcons speed on defense just shows this problem. Brady seems to fire his passes out there. I think Quinn will have similar success that Carson Palmer has had in the NFL.
