What else can I say, that hasn't been said...

Gus lost the game for us. We had a shot and he handed it right to them.

Saban, you have to bench this idiot. If you don't I think you loose a lot of respect from both the locker room and the fans!

Wow! This is just...... I am simply at a loss for words right now. Never would I thought I would ever see the day where people actually wanted Jay freaking Fiedler back. But I do agree, this guy has GOT to go. Saban better do something this offseason regarding the QB situation, which has been ignored for far too long. I dont know how much of this I can take. Hell, I remember 5 years ago, me b*tching about signing Fiedler instead of going after or drafting a REAL quarterback, and 5 years later, we're still doing the same thing, only its with a different guy who's last name starts with an "F"

I say enough of this garbage. Bring in Rivers, Carr, Brees, someone from the draft, hell ANYONE!! Anyone is better than this piece of roach crap we got in there now. Enough of the retreads because 5 years of this crap is simply too much to take. Its good to know that I wasnt the only one yelling at the TV back in 2001 when Paul Tagliabue called Jamar Fletchers name instead of Drew Brees's. Its just that now, we know how much that draft would come back to haunt us

Gus is so bad. Reason why we lost this game. But once again his butt buddy saban will blame everyone else except Gus and Gus will be back in as starter b/c everyone here knows that this analogy is true:

saban:gus::wanny:jay.
 
All i can say is that Marino spoiled us.when Marino left that put us with 80% of the league.loooking for the next great qb.but imo miami may have wasted a great defense.by investing in poor qbs.And to think if we had good play at qb we actually could have a very good chance of winning our division.lets just hope indy beats new england.as weird as it seems miami is still alive for the division title because of poor play by our divional teams.i believe we control our own fate this year.so maybe we can start stringing some wins together.:D and do it!
 
Gus Frerotte needs to be benched if there is any hope left for this season, if he continues to play...then we are in the Matt Lienhart draft sweepstakes! ;)
 
Are there any remaining guskateers?

i see many of them have stop being guskateers. dont know why they thought gus would be a good qb for us.
 
Our passing game=GARBAGE!!!

The Wr's are below average the Qb is below average the pass blocking is average!!

I'm hard pressed to think of a worse passing game as a whole than us!! It's sad because we played well enough to win in every phase except the passing game!!

People go back and forth on whose fault it is between the Wr's or the Qb..but heres a harsh reality..........THEY BOTH ARE SUCKING!!!

We need to get some playmakers on this offense, dump Gus and move Chambers to #2 and get a playmaking WR.

Be it the draft or FA we need a true no.1 and a quality QB alot worse than I originally thought...This is frusterating as hell!
 
It really hurts!!!!

It hurts me so badly to see our Deffense be punished on every third down.... Will we ever stop a darn team on 3rd down..... then when we finally do so.... STUPID GUS comes in and all he does is giving the ball away... many 3 and outs and when we're really close... bang screws up once again...

Fiedler sucked but, Gus sucks sideways.....
 
the real problem with gus/Sabans first mistake....

He is REEEEAAAAALLLYY SLOOOOOOW....in all aspects of the game, he drops back slow, hold on to the ball too long, has a slow release, hands off slow, pump fakes slow...it gives the defense extra time to adjust.

it is obvious that yes, Gus is the best we have, but instead of using that as an excuse, I am now willing to hold that as a fault on the Saban regime. Why did we get this guy? there were plenty of guys just as cheap and good and even younger. So he knew the system, so what? does that mean we should take practice squad players from minnesota just bc they know the system. Gus has never been a proven....to put it simply, he was cut by the BENGALS prior to 2003....thats a bad sign. I have FULL trust in Saban and our system, but the Gus Frerrote acquisition was a mistake.

Side Note: Ronnie Brown is an outstanding running back, I wouldnt take any player in the draft over him having seen what ive seen from him. The R+R duo did their job, the offensive woes fall squarely on Gus's shoulders.

Saban said last time that it wasn't Gussy's fault that he was not completing passes....Now he had enough time to throw the ball and the running game was there, what would be Saban's excuse this time around.

By the way, he threw that INT intended for Chambers in double coverage,For a veteran he cannot read defenses well or he just plain sux..
