Wanny would have jumped on that deal, and probably thrown in next year's first round draft pick to make it more fair to the Vikings
 
This is a team that got a 4th for nothing last year from us. They probably figured we were stupid enough to do this.

It does let us see what kind of offers were out there and makes me more confident in Saban not jumping at a lame offer to trade down,etc. After watching Spielman get worked over last year, makes me feel good to know the guy in charge is strong enough to say no to bad deals and hold out for good ones.
