Great news, I was eating breakfast and I almost choked I was so surprised.

I remember last year Saban said the only NFL job he would've taken was the Miami job, but after becoming the highest paid college coach, I doubt he'll want to go to Miami. I just want a coach is can keep the team disciplined, and if someone is slacking off, isn't afraid to bench them.

Wanny should do 1 of 2 things. He should either go to a team like Cincy,Indy,Minny,SF,etc. and be the DC. Or he should become a college coach(I would find it funny if he became the gators coach.) I think he could be a good NCAA coach. One thing I will give him credit for is making defensive players good NFL players.

Yeah, I know I shouldn't drudge up old threads, but I figure we all need somthing to put a smile on our faces. And I find it cathartic to go back through this 16 page thread and relive the ABSOLUTE JOY of the posters when this incredible day finally came to pass.

Yes, it's true that this day's continuous DELAY year-in and year-out has led us to the point that we're at right now, but hey, at least it DID finally happen. Think of how we'd be feeling right now if we still had a year or two to go? Yikes!

Sorry guys for the misleading thread title. I know it takes some time to start reading it before you realize how old it is. It's also misleading that the posts are old, but the poster's sigs are updated. If I was the thread originator, I'd change the title so it's not misleading. No, Dave isn't out at Pitt....that won't happen for a few years yet.
