I was very late, but I would have started a thread by the same title. At last the reign of terror is over in Miami. Now we might be able to get a coach that will actully let our players play. Miami will make the biggest jump next season. I am excited to be a Dolphan again.

Why sympathetic -- He is now going to make 2.5 million dollars to sit on his couch -- he made the right decision - he'll catch on somewhere else, i dont feel bad for him, he brought this on himself. as much as I know Dave had to go, I feel bad about the way things ended. No doubt he deserves to get canned but with that being said, you have to admit he was dealt a bad hand this year. As I said, don't get me wrong, he had to go but he was still dealt a sh*tty hand!!

It seems alot of people share your opinion. Everyone feels sorry for Dave now that he's gone, yet 1 week ago all of you wanted him gone. As for the bad hand argument, I have to disagree. Did Dave have a bad hand the previous 2 seasons? We had a Superbowl contender team and we didn't make the playoffs. That alone speaks for itself.
