MERGED: Cam Wake gets paid

Its about time! Cam deserves it! Only concern is hoping that he will be as effective when at the end of his contract he's a 34 year old pass rusher?
 
The FO did their part, hopefully Cam does his and continues to play hard.
 
Cam definitely will be worth the money. This does mean a bit of bad news for an under-performing veteran with a high salary.

Maybe Fasano or McDaniels or someone else could be cut.

That and the man is just a hard working, BRILLIANT, matchup/talent evaluator, imho, best gm in the league. I really think we're building a dynasty and that is why we got rid of a potential liability in B.M, talented but not a team player, the Shula way. The only logical reason I believe some dolfans don't like Ireland is just pure weakness. Gon cough cough
 
Good signing. In our new 4 - 3 base he should be deadly. What a waste when they dropped him into coverage. Hand on the ground , full speed to the QB. Just like in Canada.
 
A well deserved contract extension. Nobody can dispute the fact that Cameron Wake EARNED this contract. I think this team actually looks headed in the right direction. Great draft, and now locking up your top pass rusher for the rest of his career.
