Merged: CJ Anderson Super Thread- Offer sheet decision today

If so; To paraphrase/quote RDJ from Age of Ultron, "D**k move, Elway"

Maybe we should bring in Adrian Foster for a visit. heard Denver was looking at him so maybe we put a little pressure on for the Broncs to make a move on the affordable Foster or spend for CJ.

Make any sense or ridiculous...

Take away Miller's 85 yard td run and his average would be 4.1 yards per carry. Just saying it seems like one run seems to be the difference between everyone praising Miller or the same people saying he only rushed for 786 and 4.1 ypc and needs to be replaced. If Houston's safty doesn't miss the tackle this discussion could look a lot different. Another way to look at it is with out that great game in Houston Miller finishes the season with 697 yards on 180 carries an and a 3.9 ypc average. He also has six 100 yards rushing games in the past two seasons. That's not all on Miller, a big portion of the blame goes to the line and how he was used by the coaching staff.

And if we take away every 20+ yard gain by Miller his y/c carry average is actually . . .

C'mon man, you can't be serious.

Fair warning... he spends half the video gashing the dolphins for massive runs

Like every other rb did to us.

Show me highlights of rb's that are NOT going against the nfl's worst run defense. Not saying anderson isnt good or he shouldnt be signed, its just a waste for people to show highlights of rb's against the dolphins where EVERY rb is a sure fire hall of famer for a day.

Can we start taking away runs for losses as well? Nit picking one or two runs don't bold well for any argument. And I am sure that you could take a run or two away from any RB which would change their ypc.

I can't answer that intelligently. I don't know.

Possibly could have worded the post better in simply stating that I doubt we'll see more signings until this deal is decided one way or another.

You can bet anderson is putting the full pressure on his agent to rattle the front office in denver to match miami's offer. And why wouldnt he? Top to bottom from owner, gm, front office, players, coaches are better than miami's. They just won a superbowl. If denver had zero intention of matching for him, they would informhis agent and not make a kid they really like wait and stress over his future. Unless this whole thing is being stalled so denver can leverage rb's to interview and sign on the cheap before denver commits to matching miami's offer.

I dont think denver is out of this at all. They want him. Fans want him. His team mates want him and anderson, plus his agent wants him to stay there. I say its 90% sure anderson remains a bronco.

Couldn't agree more. I would actually be shocked if Denver doesn't match. Hopefully Miami has a backup plan if CJ Anderson remains in Denver.

Might want to consider they Don't have a QB and the options out there all not that toe tingling.....Truthfully can't see Denver matching they're just to cap strapped but then what do I know....

Interesting post

Also solidifies what we've been saying about the incompetence of Lazar's passing concepts. Now let's take that and reflect on just how well Tannehill played in his offense despite those severe restrictions. Very damn good QB.

This is a team that wouldn't extend him a 2nd round tender for an extra $1M. This is a team that currently has Trevor Semien as their starting QB and needs to pay one big money. This is a team that needs to pay Von Miller the biggest contract among defensive players all-time. This is a team with $14M in cap space. Matching would be an extremely erroneous move. They weren't willing to pay $2.5M. So now why would they be willing to pay $6M?

This is a team with a history of cheating the cap rules :d-day:

He doesn't care either way. He wasn't expecting this type of money but he is getting it regardless of city. Good for him
