umm.....HUH??? Couldn't be further from the truth. Miller will be missed severely......it will become evident by week 3.
Missed...but not replaceable.
Miller can't make the runs Anderson made in the Superbowl.

Breakaway speed is probably the most overrated running back trait out there. It's the cherry on top to the rest of the package. CJ has a low center of gravity, great change of direction and quickness and runs with high level power. He fits this scheme like a glove. I liked Lamar Miller, but I like these guys about the same, he was the closest thing to Lamar on the open market when you consider integrating him into our scheme and his seamless fit. Ajayi and CJ will be a great grind it out tandem if we get him on Tuesday. Great fit in this division.
Miller did quite well with our ****ty OL. I wonder how CJ will do with a similar line? He had a great OL in Denver, or at least it seems he had a great OL in Denver.
Missed...but not replaceable.

And Anderson can't make tons of runs we've seen Miller break off for huge gains. If i recall, Anderson didn't do much of anything in the super bowl until very late

Against the best front 7 since 2000 Ravens.
Miller, like he did against all AFC east foes would've struggled due to him not being in space.
Which is still more than Miller did in the super bowl. I said it before and I'll say it again. Everyone is worried about losing Millers "home run" potential, but his home run potential didn't help us win too many games. Is that Millers fault? Of course not. But why pay more money for one running back, instead of a cheaper (but still effective) running back and save money to improve other areas of the team?

Watch these Superbowl highlights again....I'll take Anderson on my team...dime a dozen?....I think not!

He might of had some big runs but he also tried to do too much and lost 7 yards multiple times and killed the drive
.doesn't break tackles.

He made big runs in the 1st half - including the first drive, which led to a FG. That first drive was a big deal. The narrative was that Carolina's D would destroy Denver's O, and for the most part they did, but getting that early lead - even if just by three points - made the Panthers press, and you can't press against an elite D. He helped start the game, and he helped put the game away.
late?
What the **** did Lamar Miller do in his superbowl snaps then?
It's not Miller's fault the line was constantly letting dudes through in the backfield..
This is also a complaint about Lamar that is just untrue. He developed a ton as a player since being a rookie and became much better in all areas of his game.
That is a true and very fair point. But I just thought it was hilarious to bring up CJ's super bowl performance as if it was anything of value. He constantly was having 1,2,3 yard gains and finally got lucky and broke off that long run.

Did he? I don't recall those big runs. of course not saying they didnt happen or that he didnt help his team.
Oh come on uk, youre better than that.
(sorry for the mega post everyone. I'm not trying to say CJ is a bad player or anything btw, just prefer Miller)
