Dolphins creeping closer to acquiring Denver RB C.J. Anderson

Denver running back C.J. Anderson, a restricted free agent, becomes a member of the Dolphins if the Broncos don’t match the offer sheet Anderson signed by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, Anderson opted for the Dolphins in part because of his familiarity with Dolphins coach Adam Gase, Denver’s offensive coordinator in 2013-14, and Gase’s offense.

24 hour warning, denver has until this time (39 minutes ago) to match
 
I haven't read anyone asking this and getting an answer but what happens if Denver matches? Does that mean they automatically get him or does he get to chose which team or something?
 
it's actually a story because we're on the verge of signing someone of decent value and not losing someone

Have we signed anybody after Anderson? I hope this 5 day wait didn't put a freeze on spending.
 
it's probably 5 days from the actual time he signs.

edit: so if he signed at 6:41pm (for example), it would be 6:41pm Tuesday.
