TeeMoney said:You don't have to hire the black guy, you just have to interview him. Maybe the next step in this diversity experiment will be to fine teams for not hiring blacks after interviewing them, I mean, come on you know the white owners don't really want to hire a black guy. Should we expect the Wine and caviar owner to hang out with the new coach and drink a bull? That's the only reason Saban was hired. Jimmy was hired so Wayne can hang out on his boat in the bahama's drinking (and watching) heiny's. Shula was hired because he was a good old boy, so was Wannstedt. It's ridiculous how the whitey's choose their kind all the time. And if Wayne did choose a black one, he'd immediately be called an "uncle tom" and shunned by his people.

My dad is a sociology professor. I've read plenty of texts including recent studies. Anyone who thinks this was an issue of 25-50 years ago and not appropos today is sadly base ignorant. The media and therefore our impressions may have changed, the hiring practices have not.

I get into it a lot with my g/f when she asked me to pull up the car and stuff like that.... then I pay for dinner. When we wake up in the morning, I have the same responsibility to cook breakfast as she does because she talks about equality.
Wheres that equality when the check comes at dinner?
Most women and minorities dont believe in complete equality, because they dont want some of the crap we haveto do. They all want "selective" equality. They dont want it all, just the good.
Dol-Fan Dupree said:all I know is reading these fun posts just increases your love for white people. You like to think that this would can get better and then you read some of the most ignorant posts.
Philter25 said:Why, because you think that only minorities work hard labor jobs like a maintenance worker? I think you need to bend your mind back to reality also.
The picking cotton I have no comment and agree with and found slavery to be disguisted and appalling, but to think that only minorities work hard labor jobs like a maintenance worker is appalling.
pwn3dyo said:haha this group is a joke. As someone said earlier if a black person was given a job, and we didnt interview a white canidate no one would be talking about this. It's the year 2005 and all i hear are minorities saying we need to put racism behind us. The only one trying to base stuff on race are the minorities. All universities let minorities in before whites. The wendys in my town ONLY hires blacks, and the owner is black. Conscidence? I think not, but it's never in the news. I just want all these minority people to shut up and face the facts. The vast majority of the population is not racist, and the only reason racism is still an issue is because of the minorities.

What happened before the civil rights movement has nothing to do with todays generation. This BS needs to stop there is no outlaw of B.E.T Black Entertaint ment Television why not isn't that racist? If I had W.E.T I would be burned at the stake. It needs to stop its nothing but a cop out for black people sorry but it is. I know your grandparents where slaves but we weren't there masters leave us out. I'm sure if someone like Don Shula, Art Shell, Dennis Green, and Herman Edwards were out there as available coaches the no-brainer is to take Shula but you have to worry about this stupid rule when the other 3 know for a fact that its a lame duck interview like randy shannon did. I dont care if I owned the Miami Dolphins I put who is the best of the best on the field, and if they are all white to bad black people, or if they are all black to bad to or whatever cause I'm doing it to win and make money not to diversify the league that is already 70% black anyways. The league will diversify on its own no need to make rules. There is a reason you dont see black head coaches and owners they are just regular people who arent qualified enough yet since the majority of them are black they can make a big ordeal out of it. But the NBA being almost 80% black let God forbid something like this were to happen but about white people. Black people don't like baseball thats why the league is only 9% black I think. I'm not racist its just this bs with black this and black that is ******ed and and people need to realize we are in the year 2005 not 1805 yes racism does exist and always will but thats not what drives team to be great dynasties, championships, down to the wire finishes great games stuff like that is a mixture of all and the only ones who ever complain about this stupid **** is black people and its bs like we owe them something. You just go out there play your heart out your either good enough or your not. Yeah I'm gonna assemble my team of all white-guys cause I'm white or all black guys cause I'm black. Or majority either way you find talent and you keep it and mold it. Any player who complains about race is a "POS."
