I saw a movie (actually bought the DVD, it is great) that totally opened my eyes regarding racial equality and diversity. The movie is Undercover Brother. Dave Chapelle was great as "conspiracy brother". He always stood up against the white man. He smoked alot of pot too, but he was REAL. He kept it real. Oh, and Doogie Howser is in it also- he played the typical white guy acting like a black guy. But at the end he too realized how the man holds black people down.

See the movie crash that is a little more accurate, with some misconceptions. It pretty well covers all the stero types that are put on all races. Undercover brother was a stupid movie, but Eddie Griffin is funny as hell. Have you ever seen the stand up comedy Voodoo Child?

I think that as long as people refer to themselves as African-Americans or European-Americans, or Mexican-Americans or whatever other terms they want to use it will continue to create cracks in the foundations of our society. I am 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Ukranian. Does that make me an Italian-Ukranian-American? No! I have never been to either country. I am an American! Color of skin should not matter, African-American, please! How many people who call themselves that have ever been to Africa? You are American! Enjoy being American, there are millions of people out there that wish they could live here and be free!

I agree, but it will never be like that. Being an African-American is supposed to set them appart from just a normal american. I personally dont understand it either.
