Why do they have to call themselves "african american". You think others can't tell that they are black just by looking at them? Or by reading their names? (anfernee, shamika, Tyrone) come on, get with it already.

I guess to me it is just so obvious it shouldn't need to be explained. I am American. I am a subset African American. That does not mean I am different from American.
