MERGED:does anyone else feel riped off/upset on this surtain deal?!?!

We Got SCREWED on the Surtain Deal

Can someone explain why the hell WE had to trade KC our 5th round pick when theirs is at minimum about 20 spots after ours????? It should have been a straight deal at least or if KC would have had a pic that was a few spots before ours it would be alright. I guess Saban was getting desperate and just wanted something done by draft day.:shakeno: :fire:

You can have the 5th round choice iun this year's draft.
 
I somehow have the feeling that there MIGHT be a few more trades before this is said and done. I doubt the swapping of 5th round picks will utterly destroy the draft...and society as we know it..CHILL :shakeno:
 
So we get a 2nd and swap 5th rounders? hmmm Oakland got a 2nd and 3rd for Buchannon! :shakeno: :cry: :confused: :yell:
 
We got back the draft pick that we got Surtain with and had him 7 years.....How did we get screwed??? Players in the 5th aren't that better then one another anyways.

I liked Sam, but come on, we have one Division title over the Zach, Jason, Sam & Surtain era. I'm sure if Saban could have kept him at a reasonable salary, he would have. but the market right now was perfect for Pat...Good for him. :)

The trade (depending on who we take, and how they produce) should work out for both sides. Surtain in the short term, and hopefully Miami in the long term. :)

btw...I love how Saban is handling the #2 pick. Just leaking enough info to keep teams dancing around us to get it. This could be a very good thing come tomorrow.
