Last year, Howard was as bad run blocking (-10.4) at RT as Jerry was at RG (-10.3) but, Jerry was MUCH better in pass blocking where Howard was a bit above average. Where did anyone come up with his being good?

that doesn't really play a role, they knew a while ago they were cutting him so that was factored in and even if he wasn't cut they had plenty of cap room to get Howard signed.

Swap Yankey for Brandon Thomas and I like it.

Yankey is likely a first round pick so no way we get Martin and Yankey.

Maybe just me but I feel as if FO is trying to get O-line fixed via FA in order to draft weapons on offense and defense.

Overall for the year, Clabo was #39 of all OT's and Howard was #40. IF ya go by Clabo's second half, Howard was not even remotely close to what Clabo did,

that would be a disaster for us, I am hoping these reports spur us to sign him before tomorrow. They are negotiating as we speak.

I wouldn't worry too much yet. Dolphins may be just trying to drive the price up on the Jets.
