How do the Dolphins improve their wide receiver issues??.... we trade our best cornerback to make them look better in practice. lol

im dumbfounded. i will eat crow if we flip this 2nd rounder to somehow pull in Mike Wallace... but I'm not holding my breath
 
I'm not sure why everyone is crying about this... Most of the people complaining here, are the same ones complaining about Vontae after the first episode of Hard Knocks. No doubt the guy has potential. But after 3 years in the league, he's still struggling to stay in shape, and lost his starting job this offseason. We were able to trade a lazy, backup CB for a 2nd round pick. That gives us a total of 5 picks to use in the first 3 rounds next year. Can't say I'm too upset about this
 
If we got Austin Collie as well (provided he's over the concussion issues) I'll like the trade a little bit. Collie can at least get open, and I think he has become expendable because of TY Hilton

I agree with you 100% but you need a good GM for that and I don't think we have one.

What? He just got another concussion last week. His career is all but over now.
 
Dumb question, but wasn't Vontae the 25th pick? This second could easily be in the low 30's, so if there is an additional pick or player paired in the package it seems fair.
 
there are plenty of stud recievers next year, I wouldnt reach for any of them tho. Id just wait and take sammy watkins in 2014. now that guy is a superstar.
 
Come on guys, we all know they did this to make this week's Hard Knocks more exciting.
