lolololol. Always been a fan of Ireland. Jesus this makes me mad. Vontae was my favorite player. Wow, just wow.

EDIT: We could have probably gotten vontae for wallace straight up... wtf
 
My Initial reaction. :crazy:

Ross must have given assurances to Ireland/Philbin that they have 3 years before being judged. Otherwise this makes no sense.
 
They had BETTER have this 2nd round pick as a move to get Mike Wallace or another top WR. Or else Ireland will be killed once again by the media.
 
Well, I'll say this.

First WV called Garrard getting hurt. Then he called Chad Johnson being cut. Then he said Vontae would be next.

Going by that, I think it's safe to say Karlos Dansby will not be a Dolphin in 2013.
 
jesus Christ , Ireland has done the new coach no favors with his trades. So now our secondary is quite a bit worse. So horrible receiving corps and now a below average secondary. Yea that Ireland is pure genius
 
I can see this pick being used alone or in combination with another pick to help our receiving corps. Can we wait for the season to start before we freak out?

This was more Philbin than Ireland I can guarantee that.
 
two seconds for Wallace maybe ? Can't say I have ever heard of two seconds for a WR...
 
just to tick everybody off a little more, this is what Ben Volin just tweeted

Just heard from a league source today that #Dolphins were sniffing around a trade with Vontae. Team has been impressed with Nolan Carroll

Again, I'm not as down on Carroll as most are because I feel he did improve after a poor start to the season, but I don't think he's good enough to justify trading Vontae
 
How exactly is this us going into rebuilding mode? Vontae is a YOUNG, incredibly gifted, potential shut down corner... Ridiculous.
 
Do what is needed for an unhappy Mike Wallace. Send them the better of the 2nds or at least a 3rd or 4th for James Jones. Colts are instantly a better team and we took quite a step back unless we net something more than a 2nd round pick. At least we got a great headline for Tuesday night. Ugh....
