I hate this because it hurts us now. We better trade this #2 for a reciever FAST!!!!

I dont think I have ever been so ready to say **** the phins. Trading Vontae makes no sense at this point esp with the rest of the crap we have at corner

Vontae was always getting burnt. Looked out of shape. We are rebuilding for the future.

Now that they've officially announced that they are rebuilding. Philbin should just say it already.

We are getting 2 picks according to twitter. The 2nd one is a conditional pick that, if rumors are true, could be as high as a 4th.

This might be a good trade if we were a team that actually used draft picks wisely. Look what we did with the pick foir Marshall (Egnew). Why not just start giving guys away?

I hope the brass knows what they're doing. We're going to be severely short-handed with talent now in the backfield. I've always been iffy on Vontae, he's only a superstar half the time, if that, but he was way more developed than our other DB's.

As others have said in this thread, if we dont use this on a solid, no-doubts WR, this is going to be one hell of a mistake. What stinks too is, even if we used it on a WR like Mike Wallace, that would only give him 2 weeks at most to learn the system and practice with us.

great trade. 2nd round pick is high for an underachieving lazy cb with off field and maturity issues in his history

everyone has to realize this year is basically lost. this is good value

It took two 2nd round picks to ship Marshall out of here, maybe two twos brings in some talent at WR.

To be fair, I'll take Mike Wallace with only 2 weeks learning our offense over Legadu Naahands with a full training camp.
