Feeley the man

Im drunk, but looking at the stats Feeley outplayed Frerotte tonight. 16 for 20 are pretty good numbers. I forget what Frerotte's numbers were but they were not good. So, I dont care what you say, Frerotte should not have the lead as of yet. The decision shouldnt be decided yet

Well you being drunk makes your comment cloudy, but I do agree with you, Feeley played better. IMO Feeley should start next week against a good Bucs defense and if he plays well again and Frerotte struggles again, start Feeley.

ferotte is our starter plain and simple. we cant be switching qb's every week.

Can anyone honestly say Ferotte that has outplayed Feeley?

The most dissapointing thing is ,the guy knows Linehans system....

This is what Saban said

It seems whichever quarterback plays second plays best," Saban said. "But they're not playing against the same players either. You almost have to evaluate how they play when they start. But A.J.... did a nice job when he was in there, and I felt very good about that."

Read into what you will but it it tells me Feeley starts the season

Guys, Frerotte played against the Steelers first-team D (the one that was the best in the league last year), and he had 4-5 dropped passes from his receivers.

Feeley played against the 3rd string Pitt D, AND the playcalling was drastically different - all quick dumps and outs. look at the yardage on those plays - 3 yards, 4 yards, 4 yards... they were all garbage plays that we called b/c the Pitt DBs were playing off us 5 yards. not hardly showing a "great QB" at all.

The frerotte fumble that stung was the fumble for TD, but that was a HUGE collapse by the o-line and no one seemed to block anybody. the same would have happened to feeley.

This game did nothing to sway the QB batle in either direction guys...

Link??
last time i checked QB job was still up for grabs w/ Ferotte slightly ahead, and after todays game Im not sure Saban has confendence in Ferotte to name him the starter..

feely completed 9 more passes, for 8 more yards against the 2nd team, that's not very impressive. I can throw 3 yard passes all day long too.

I hope we stick with one guy as a team right now and stop switching so the team can get used to something.

Well i still say that the competition should still be open. Feely should start next week to see what he can do. Frerotte had his chance to take the starting role tonight and he blew it. Thats what you get when you injure yourself be celebrating by slaming your head into the wall. He shouldnt ever play ootball agin just for that.

Ferotte looked HORRIBLE tonite gawd his arm is weaker than i thought and he is so inaccurate. There was a couple of throws were he led recivers right into a brick wall, i dont blame em for droping 1

Feeley was perfect throwing the ball till Minor fumbled and was on his way to putting points on the board till MANN fumbled on the 35yrd line.
i know it was against 2nd Team but isnt that how Ferotte gained a slight advantage over Feeley?

dude you must really hate Feeley..
Cuz I call it good decision making on Feeleys part, its what Gus should have doin...

Will AJ Feeley ever be good enough to lead a team to the Super Bowl?

No, so then why are we wasting our time with him if that's why they play the game?

Feeley came in during Pitt's 3rd stringers.

Feeley should be perfect when he's only throwing 3 yard passes. wasn't that your guys biggest knock on fiedler? he didn't have an arm to throw it downfield? Now feeley throws 3-yard outs and he's the answer?

i'm not so easily convinced.

i'm not saying Gus is the answer, but don't be fooled by AJ's numbers tonight. Just like Brock's #'s in games one and two were not to be taken too seriously, so too are AJ's numbers tonight.

apples to oranges. Play calling was totally different for Feeley than it was for Gus.
