Merged: Feeley the man

The problem with having a QB competition is that neither Qb has stepped up, like past years. I guess if all things are equal, Feeley should start because he's younger, but I don't believe he's the answer at QB.

on a side note EVERYONE needs to get off the pats game from last year.

it was LAST year, with a different team, coaches, personnel, everything.

-If you will say "no, its the same people", then we can say Feeley had his chance to prove himself with his poor performance last year.
-If you will say "yeah, its different people, lets give him a chance to prove himself", then DROP the talk of the NE game from last year, because everything is different now.

ONE flash of brilliance from last year is not gonig to decide our starting QB for this year, so drop it.

I will say this once, you aint my daddy and you aint my english teacher. This isnt school so if you dont like spelling errors leave. Dont grade my post for grammatical or spelling errors, this isnt a thesis.

You can say it as many times as you want to, you still mispelled the word "the" multiple times in your post which makes you come across in a less than stellar manner, which in turn makes your e-pinion null and void...

Someone is wearing his bitterpants today...

This is what Saban said

It seems whichever quarterback plays second plays best," Saban said. "But they're not playing against the same players either. You almost have to evaluate how they play when they start. But A.J.... did a nice job when he was in there, and I felt very good about that."

Read into what you will but it it tells me Feeley starts the season

And read into it, and actually think about it -- he is saying that Feeley played against a different D.

feely completed 9 more passes, for 8 more yards against the 2nd team, that's not very impressive. I can throw 3 yard passes all day long too.

I hope we stick with one guy as a team right now and stop switching so the team can get used to something.

Did you say that after the bears game when gus made plays against backups?

Will AJ Feeley ever be good enough to lead a team to the Super Bowl?

No, so then why are we wasting our time with him if that's why they play the game?

I assume that you believe Gus can lead this team to the Superbowl, if not then what's your point? If so then I have some property I need you to look at.

apples to oranges. Play calling was totally different for Feeley than it was for Gus.

So Steelers had in the 3rd string with six minutes to go in the second qtr? Why can't you just admit that AJ played well and Gus had a rough night. He also played with backup receivers and OL too didn't he?

If coach Saban can admit it why can't you.
