i think the raiders pull the trigger with a 3rd or 4th
 
as a TE fine, spend a 5th.....still think as a QB Devlin's got more upside potential!

If they take him, it is with the thought that he likely doesn't do much of anything this year. They could use him on a couple of wildcat plays if they want, but it would really be to secure his rights and treat him as a rookie in 2012.

Any team that drafts him knows it is going to take years to develop him. If all he ever turns out to be is a 3rd string QB or career backup, a 6th or 7th round pick would be worth it. Doesn't mean you can't still draft a franchise QB next year, but maybe you take a swing and get something out of it. Maybe he becomes the next Brad Smith. Perhaps he becomes the next Pat White. For a late round pick why the heck not?
 
i think he would be used like brad smith this year. then should be switched to te imo
 
if we do take him whatever position he plays he better spend the next 2 weeks doing all he can to get into playing condition then spend his suspension doing everything he can learning the playbook
 
Put a 5th on him. It's a 5th round pick for one of the best physical specimens in history. 6'6 235lbs 4.38 40? RIDICULOUS.
 
I said it before this front office has enough stupidity to actually waste a draft pick on him. Oh well.

fully expect a team like Green Bay or Baltimore to put in a 5th maybe even a 4th and develop him to get back high compensation...established teams have waay more leeway then teams like the Phins

I cant see Baltimore as they have Tyrod Taylor, and that's not Green Bay's style (especially since they have Flynn). Now I could see the Colts put a bid in for him
