MERGED: Feeling around the league is, Dolphins will draft Terrell Pryor

So taking that stance on your opinion, would it have been also a wasted pick for the Dolphins when they picked up Jim Jensen? I can bet on one Man strongly disagreeing with your assessment and that being the "Man" himself..Mr Dan Marino. Jim Jensen was also the exact type of player we would be utilizing Pryor as, a Utility player, who would also be used as a QB, RB, TE, WR, ST, Kick Holder and in some instances a Punter (maybe)...in any event I long for the days that any QB of ours can refer to a player again as "MR AUTOMATIC" . I would hope that the Dolphins front office has not forgotten how valuable a player of this caliber can be to an orgainization and has not dispelled the possible Net worth based on personnal opinion alone as many individuals on this site have. I would have no problem taking Pryor with a 4th in this draft and could even exercise the idea of a 3rd if I thought I could recover that pick with a later trade hands down, to guarantee we got our man. Can anyone say for certain he can't be better than Henne? It's really not that steep of a leap and not out of the realm of a possibility.

With this logic why aren't we taking guys like Ryan Mallett with our first? Can you say FOR CERTAIN that he won't be better than Chad Henne?!

You can justify this with EVERY SINGLE PICK YOU CAN MAKE. It's a logical fallacy.

4th Round Pick... Make it happen and develop him and still draft a high 1 next year if you see that he is not taking control of the situation and putting forth the effort. What he does during the 5 game suspension is going to speak alot about him, both on and off the field.

If we draft him, we have another weapon on offense. For a 3rd or 4th, it's worth it!

he's worth a 4th to me, that combo of size and speed is worth a shot. we've spent higher picks on worse athletes than Pryor. yeah, he probably wont be much of an addition this year, missing almost the first half.

Good chance pryor gets selected by the Raiders right now in the 3rd round.....They dont have a fourth round pick

Not sure if your knocking my post or not but in any event, I couldn't agree more about what the Dolphins "Should" of done with their first pick in the draft and taken Mallett but with now the hindsight knowledge of Ireland's thinking "we didn't need a new QB", we now know why we dropped the ball there. I think it's a huge mistake for us not to go QB in the draft and FA but apparently our front office is more intent on proving their selection of Henne was genius.
