I think Saban will end up trading Gordon, and it will be Brown,Harris and Morris splitting time in the back field. With Brown getting as much as he can handle.

I also think Saban will trade some others, like D Bowens(4th or 5th or cut to pay for Schulters) and Zoiniga(5th-7th) and hopefully a 4th for Gordon

What do you think this is ..... Madden?

Gordon is an excellent back. I was happy we got him and I'm still happy he is here. Starter? Probably not, but he is Minor x10, and hopefully the snaps he gets this year can give him some value.

You expect Ricky Williams to be on the practice squad?

Well this doesnt bode well for the offense. Gordon is a backup-at best. We arent going to scare anyone with him at Rb. I really can't stand the contract holdouts and bs associated with top 5 picks. How many of them actually come into the camp ontime?

If I'm J-ville I give up a 4th for Gordon rather than a 3rd for Henry. Henry will be disgruntled if he has to play behind Fred Taylor.

I see your point. Heck, it may have a trickle down effect for the next 15 games.

No one is trading for Gordon, he's coming off and injury and has never produced anything. Why on earth would u give up a good pick for him? He's MAYBE worth a 5th or 6th rounder.

Somebody needs to give Todd France a kick in his fancy pants, if you ask me.

This really good news.

I doubt most narrowed minded fans will agree.

Gorden has 4 games to improve his trade value or prove hes worthy of an extension.

The trade dealine is midseason right? Week 6-8?

And on the Gordon trade...we should just wait until Spielman gets a job in Atlanta and dish him out there for a 1st in 06, a 1st in 07 and 4 conditional picks, Michael Vick and their D. Line.

i had a feeling this would happen, i had mentioned in a thread awile back that gordon would not be cut or traded because he will see alot of playing time when ricky is out the first 4 games and possibly start the first two games............im not sure i completely like it but if its for the betterment of ronnie brown to learn the system i can live with it

It's possible that Gordon could wind up with the bulk of Miami's carries early in the season, until Brown learns the offense and Williams is reinstated.

I have no problem with Gordon starting at RB.He is a little slow picking the holes but with his slashing style of rushing I think he will better than the other RBs until Ricky and Brown are ready to play.
