All it says is that they paraded Feeley out there to appease Wayne and Feeley himself even though you can tell he doesnt feel lik ehe has gotten a fair shake so far. Just look at any of his comments and it si spelled out he feels he hasnt gotten the benefit of the playcalling and players needed to get the job done, as for Gus I am tired of his soundbites where all he does is campaign for the starting job talking about how much he needs to get all the practice with the 1st team! Its as if he has known the whole time he had the job and just wants the charade to be over!
Don't tell me its his confidence because he hsant shown anything in his 12 years to be confident abou tif anything it is conceit in his own ability or miopia regarding the lack of it!

"Feeley is the only Miami quarterback without a touchdown pass so far this preseason, and has the lowest completion percentage (50.0) and quarterback rating (42.7)."

Delaying would only be repeating the mistakes of last year, when the QB competition dragged on unnecessarily right up until the first game of the season, when merely one half of a bad game was enough to yank Jay Fiedler in favor of AJ Feeley.
Name Frerotte now. In Gus We Trust, for Better or Worst, til Gus do us part. Listening to Gus speak, there is definitely value in getting him the bulk of starter reps sooner rather than later. The sooner that happens the sooner he and Chambers and Randy and Marty all get to feel each other out on how they want to run things. Gus has a complete understanding of that. AJ seems to lack it.

I wanted Feeley to work out, due to our trade investment and what appears to be a live arm, however, after his record setting Int-TD performance last year, he really needs to show me something.......What do you see in Feeley, were you impressed with his Oregon duck days? I just don't see a leader or good decision maker. What am I missing?
Oregonfinfan said:To me it has nothing to do with his days here in Oregon it is just that for all the fair competition stuff it hasnt been fair at all, playcalling, rb's and wr's he's had in his time in the game have been horrible along with the blitzing chicago did I just Feel like Feeley was set up to fail if they name the starter now and if I was him I would want to be cut if they have passed judgement on him already. I also think ppl thnk b/c points got on the board with gus at qb that it was him....IT WAS NOT that also is bugging me as the guy hasn't doen anything btu had Ricky get him a fg and a wr make a miracle play on a ball that wasnt to be thrown to him?
