I don't dislike either one of them. I want to give Feeley a fair shake but Frerotte has looked good tonight & he's our best bet for winning right away.
im with u guys on this. im a feeley supporter and like his passes tonight but imo gus has outplayed him tonight. feeley has a great arm though, and if some of those passes werent dropped he would have looked better. his stats still werent bad. without those drops it may have pushed the d back a little. why the hell are the bears blitzing like crazy.
i dont understand why everyone says they dont like Gus... for what reason? The only reason i ever hear is that he is "old". Give me a break. I personally dont care who wins the QB position as long as they win games. And according to tonight, it looks like Gus may be able to do that. Granted he is with the second team etc. so i really cant see much until he starts this weekends game at Jacksonville but so far, i give it to Gus. And until someone gives me a LEGITIMATE reason for disliking the guy... i like him.
You guys are fools to not jump on Gus' bandwagon. He's the BEST and ONLY shot you have at being competitive this year. Gus has some ability. I woudn't at all be surprised to see him have a Rich Gannon like renaissance to his career.
In fact, I've already predicted that Gus leads to the Fish to a surprisingly competitve 9 win season this year.
Listen I am an AJ supporter as well but we all have to accnowledge that Gus has been much better tonight. I think its the play calling and Gus' knowledge of the offense, but it is clear tonight, right now, he is playing better
The one thing that stands out most between AJ and Gus is the experience that Ferrotte shows. You can just see the difference between the two, especially when dealing with the blitz.
you want gus to start so you can have two guaranteed wins against us.
gus and his old age wont stand a chance against the pats.
in this game, he only looks at one damn receiver and throws it his way all teh damn time.
