According to Monday morning, Orlando Sentinel we have"signed Fred Gibson waived by Pittsubrgh along with 6 players cut during the preseason----

S Deandre Eiland, WR Maurice Mann, RBKay-Jay Harris, TE Alex Holmes, P Donnie Jones and T Orrin Thompson...S Chris Atkins (hamstring) was released from the injured reserve list".....Alex Marvez, Miami Bureau

haha....thats exactly what I did too......but then I remembered that Lance is an 88 overall (WTF?), Stockar is an 87 and Cleditus Hunt of the Pack is 90 overall.....good lord some of the ratings are scheiBe....

and again, Akins does not count. players on IR dont take up a roster spot
 
I am glad that we did sign him. He should be our 4th CB and a great ST's player for us. It seems like that we just brought Eddie Jackson in to play ST's. Now i just wonder who we released.
 
I don't mean to be a kill joy but I'm still leery until we see something official. The only paper that has it as fact is the Herald. Maybe it's still in the works but I don't think he's ours just yet.

Personally, I wouldn't go that far. I think the Herald isn't all that credible IMO. They have LeBatard for crying out loud!
 
Trust me- if it has been in the paper since this morning, and they havent taken it off the internet it is true.

miamidolphins.com has always been slow puting up the news. I would say that they will put in up within the next couple of hours.
