Remember, if down the road you need us we'll always be here. Always is a long time so take comfort that your Finheaven famiy remains steadfast. We got your back brother.
 
I was touched by your post about your loss of your father. You showed great courage when you wrote those words to all your Fin brothers and sisters, honoring your father in a most difficult time. FinNation responded to your courage without hesitation. I'm proud to be apart of FinNation for that reason. Your Dad is looking down from heaven, proud as could be of you and the courage you displayed in honoring him the way you chose to do so.
Try to find peace within yourself, your just takin over where he left off, and starting out with class.

Just wanna take this chance to thank everyone of you for showing such support to me after my dad passed away on monday nite.You guys showed a lot of class and friednship in a very difficult time for me.Not only the dolphins fans but also fans from other teams..like one of them said, in the end we're all people here.Some of the letters were very touchy and I was crying as I read every single one of them.Amazing how people from all over the state, all over the country and even from the other side of the world took their time to try and make me feel a little better.I can not express how much it all meant to me and I can't not thank you guys enough.Finshaven has been like a second home to me ever since I joined and tho I haven't posted much lately due to the situation with my dad, I have been here everyday to get my info and you guys were just great.I specially felt better when some of you guys wrote things like"he's still here with you" and "he lives on you" and"you'll see him again".Once again, thanks to everyone for your support, your freidnship and your class.Grazie!!

I just wanted to pass on my condolences, I'm very sorry to hear about your father, nothing in the world can describe the hurt you're feeling, and i'm truley sorry. Just never forget that he's still there for you. I lost my grandfather...who was like a 2nd father, 9 years ago, and still to this day, I see him in dreams of mine that are very real, in fact I think it's his way of seeing me untill I see him in heaven someday, and when I really need something, I mean ...need something.. like good health for a family member who just came down with cancer, or surgery ect...not just for the Phins to win ;) and I pray, i'll ask for my grandfathers help and he still has always comes threw for me when I need it most. I truley believe he's still with us and takes care of us, and helps us acheive are goals in life.

I just wanted to say that, because in my case, I truley believe your father can still hear you, see you, and he'll still be there for you, and he can see how much you love him.

Sorry to hear....lost my dad in Jan and had no time to say bye.....take consolation in the fact you were able to say as much as you were able to instead of being in my postition and consider yourself lucky to have had him in your life for so long. I was only 22 lin Jan and thankfully I got to know him that long as compared to 21 or 20 or 19. My dad is the reason I am here today, he had me saying Marino and Duper as two of my first words. Every need to talk about with someone who is there with you give me a PM.....sorry again. And I know everyone here at FH shares their deepest sympathies also.
 
I'm really sorry for your loss. What hurts a fellow fan hurts us all. But this goes beyond that anyway.
For what it's worth I can share this with you. I lost my father when I was 14 in a car accident. It hurt a lot for quite a few years. I wished he could have been there for so many things, graduation, my wedding, my children being born, etc.
One day I looked in my daughters eyes when she was laughing. I know I saw a little of him there! And it hit me, he's always been there in her and in me.
Your father will always be with you. A part of you and watching over you. Don't ever be sad because he's not there, because he is.

As a matter of fact he has the best seat in the house.
