Merged: NFL Live to talk about Ricky Now/Opinions on His Return

Ricky was the best player on the team, he crried the Fins on his back for 2 seasons, he just didn't want to do it three times.
I'll never forget him running for 200 hundred yards in the snow against Barfalo the D folded and we lost.
WE ARE LUCKY HE IS BACK.
The reason we went 4-12 last season was because he didn't play he exposed Wanny, we owe him for that.

I agree with you. Wany and his entire system was exposed for being garbage. Last season sucked but without it, I fear we would be the same ole Dolphins-outside looking in.

Thats not true. The team leaders are the only ones he needs to prove himself to... Remember, the game is for the players and NO ONE else. Not the owners, coaches, fans, and whoever else falls into this group.

No offense, but I think you must've been thinking about your kids' powder puff league when you wrote this. I know you weren't talking about today's NFL.

Michael Irvin, Dwight Gooden, Darryl Strawberry, Lawrence Taylor and etc. Many have done worse and still got a second chance (and a 3rd and a 4th). What should Ricky do??? Work in a shoe store?

Now we just need Ronnie Brown to sign, Lance Schulters to sign, and the McMichael situation cleared, and we are ready to go.

not sure if you heard this or not, but John Clayton on ESPNews said that Schulters has been only offered the minimun by every team, so hes in no rush to sign

it's over they just said that he is showing up on Sunday he's getting paid the NFL minimum, still has to pay 8.6 mill. Has to re earn his respect. yada yada yada.....nothin new.

So he's making what $500,000 and and owes 8.6 million? What's the number for that debt consolidation company?

I find it hard to believe he will play for the minimum. That will hardly put a dent in the 8 million plus he owes the club. Why play under those circumstances.I am sure there is more to it than that.Maybe the total deal is heavily incentive based which is not a bad idea with a waffler like Ricky.

If i was Ricky and i hope that he does do this, i would work my butt off each and every day. I also would hang out with some of the guys after pratice to try to get my trust back. The last thing he should do is forget about what he did and move on to whats ahead of him. Now i know that the media will be all over him this year and it will be interesting to see what he has to say.[/QUwell said man took the words rite out of my mouth agree 100%. ;)

Yes, I did hear that Maynard.

I do also believe that we will be the team employing him this upcoming season, at one point or another.

if ricky does play this yr, there is no way he will have to pay back the 8 million..makes no sense

Don't get me wrong, I do not know ZT, but I do follow him closely. I have alot of ZT mem. I am obsessive about football, I watch every sports show I can to see/hear whatever I can, including the radio all day long.

Teammates have already started coming out and welcoming him back. If RW legitly left b/c he was spent and wanted no part of Wanny, Saban knows! Saban then in turn has had meetings w/ players about RW returning, then the players can hear why it all happend. Players have probably talked to RW including JT, the most adamently against RW.

Oh please!! You don't have a clue as to anyone other than what ZT, and JT were TOLD to say. If you actually herd them speak, you would have understood thier tones.

And there we have it again, another blame it on Wanny BS excuse. Anything to welcome back this fool.
