I know I've said it before, but this is why I'm not conflicted about Ricky:
I have a strong emotional attachment to the Dolphins. With very few exceptions (Dan Marino being one of them), I have very few strong emotional attachments to (or demands of) players. In this era of free agency, I don't think you can afford to. For instance, I think Chambers, McMichael and Taylor are great players, but I don't have a huge emotional identification with them as individuals. Zach Thomas is about the only current player I pin any personal devotion to right now. I still am in ecstasy when the team wins and in agony when the team loses. But as far as personal grudges or worship goes .. not so much.
So I don't feel the need to forgive Ricky or get an apology from him. If he helps the team win, I'll be glad. If he drags the team down, I'll be upset.
