MERGED: offensive ranking!!\might not mean much...

i WANNA be #1 after next week. THen I'll have an enormous stiffy. Gus is 2nd in quarterbacks performance.

What was fun to watch for me was Wes Welker and how we were able to use him to move the chains continually. He's like Antwaan Randle-El, or Brandon Stokley.

There were alot of garbage yards at the end of the game. Take some of the points and give the blame to the offense. We were stellar!

that is awsome but did you all know that we was ranked 12 in total Defence:evil:

ya but denver played so bad.
Because our D was stellar. Our goal line stands were the ****. Even the TD they scored on 4th down out in the flats should have been stopped. They are lucky Devou sp?? caught the fumble in mid air when Wes fumbled to set up their only TD.

Love to see us with all those offensive yards. Gotta work on the false starts and dropped passes and were on our way. GO PHINZ!!!!!!!!!!! :D

The O Line Had Way Too Many Flags. I Bet They Will Hear It All Week Long.
Also They Didn't Give Up Any Sacks.

I don't think this has been posted yet, but after yesterday's win our offensive ranking is #1

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistics?stat=team&sort=ypg&pos=off&league=nfl&year=2005&season=2

Even though I'm sure we were all a little optimistic did ANYONE see us being ranked #1 after the first game?

did u notice also that only the Giants scored more points than us?

wow, I knew saban was good buy his resume, but DAMN!!!!!!! that's a turn around if I've ever seen one.

we will probubly have to wait untill atleast week 3 or 4 before we start seeing the good offenses and defenses pull away from the rest. but it does make you feel good to see your team at the top of a list. :D

Yeah, Welker had a pretty impressive game, especially considering last year's HC saw him as a return specialist only. I had to go back and look it up to be sure, but Welker had second most receiving yards yesterday.
